Greetings Woods Homeowners!

We are happy to announce the new HOA board held a cordial

and productive first meeting last week. The new board members

and their main responsibilities are as follows:

Josh Burnette - President and pool maintenance

Michael Hutchinson - Treasurer

Amber Arthur - Secretary

Kevin Stallings - Communications (fields incoming HOA email communications)

Todd Blankenbeckler - Covenant consolidation and CCR clean-up

Leigh Lamb - Social events

Rebecca Jones - Website management

As a board, we have determined specific focus areas that we feel will most benefit the homeowners in our neighborhood.

1. Survey homeowners and use the gathered information to drive board decisions.

The board will distribute a neighborhood survey in the coming weeks to better understand the needs and wishes of all homeowners. This survey will cover a range of topics including CCR feedback/suggestions, interest in specific neighborhood activities and an opportunity to make additional suggestions for our neighborhood.

2. Foster a greater sense of community by facilitating a diverse schedule of activities for a wide range of homeowners. We recognize the need for greater unity across all demographics in our community and the desire to continue long-standing neighborhood social traditions. A major priority for this board is determining which events neighbors want and then facilitating them.

3. CCR consolidation and/or revision. Our very old CCRs, which determine the rules for our neighborhood, desperately need cleaning up, if not rewriting. By gathering neighbor feedback and working together we hope to update and/or revise our CCRs as needed.

4. Streamlining and prioritizing common area maintenance. We have launched an effort to consolidate common area services to one point of contact and hopefully reduce overall maintenance costs. In addition, the tennis court needs a makeover, so we will explore options for updating that space during our tenure as well.

Committees will likely be created for our social activities and covenant revisions, so this will be an avenue for you if you are interested in helping in any area. Please email the HOA board if you would like to get involved!

As a reminder, in addition to the survey we will send out, we welcome feedback and suggestions via our HOA email address or the contact form on our website.

Please be on the look-out for an invitation to our next neighborhood event in celebration of fall!

Best,

The Woods 2026 HOA Board
